Abstract

OSP-DB-OTHER-UNPRED PARTIAL DAMAGE FROM INCREASING DATA SPACE

Error Description

Attempts to increase data space for an object result in
marking the file as partially damaged, resulting in
VL0600170D and VL0300020B.

Problem Summary

Please see the Error Description section.

Problem Conclusion

A serialization weakness has been identified between multiple
jobs performing inserts into the file and a job removing an
index which hit the threshold for the internal index chain
clean-up.  This processing has been fixed.
