Error Description
Running an internal performance benchmark showed performance
degradation due to increased IO and gate contention.

Running an internal performance benchmark shows performance

Problem Conclusion
Journaled object information was being written to disk too
aggressively. This change reduces the amount of journaled object
information being written.
