********
Disk PFA error on Light Path systems and attached enclosures may
not be called home due to intermittent problem.
This PTF also incorporates a change to the Service Action Log
function for deactivating a 5887 FRU fault LED (including DASD)
called out in the SAL details screen. If the state of the LED
shows as "OFF" in the SAL screen the user can still select the
option "5=FAULT OFF" and SAL will issue the command to turn the
fault LED off. Without this PTF the SAL screen will not attempt
to turn off a fault LED if the screen shows that the LED is
already off. This change is a work around for a known problem
determining the state of the fault LED. The SAL change only
applies to system models that activate FRU fault LEDs (Light
Path systems). System models that do not activate FRU fault
LEDs (Guiding Light systems) do not provide the "5=FAULT OFF"
option on the SAL screen.
