Abstract

LIC-INCORROUT Duplicate non-configured disk units

Error Description

A couple of customers have seen this...They are creating disk
unit luns from a V7000 via NPIV and end up with duplicates.
Both were on TR3 and both were set up with 8 paths per lun, 4
active and 4 passive. One customer created 105 disk unit luns
but saw 116 disk units created. The other created 20 and saw
22. It was this last customer did not catch the problem and
added the disk units to the system asp. They ended up having to
scratch install to recover.
