APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • The compression enabled on MQT table through ALTER statement is
not reflected in db2look output. However, when added on CREATE
statement during MQT creation, it is reflected in db2look
output.

Local fix

  • Add compression through CREATE MQT table.

Problem summary

  • COMPRESSION ENABLED ON MQT TABLE THROUGH ALTER STATEMENT IS NOT

Add compression through CREATE MQT table.

Problem conclusion

  • First Fixed in db2 v9.1 FP8
