Closed as program error.
Error description
The current limit for the maximum db2inspf input and output filename is 100. If you use one with value greater than 100 then db2inspf will trap with signal 11. This APAR will address the signal 11 issue as follows: 1) Increase the limit to 256, which is current container name size, to allow user use a longer input/output filename. 2) Add filename length checking before using it, and return an error when filename is over limit.
Local fix
Do not use filenames that are longer than 100 characters.
Problem summary
DB2INSPF UTILITY THROWS SIGNAL 11 WHEN LONG FILE NAMES ARE USED.
