Error description

  • DataStage Flow Designer service sometimes fails to start up on
    Windows while applying patches that restarts  DFD service.
    

Local fix

  • Run startCognitiveDesignerServer.bat manually from command
    prompt.
    

Problem summary

  • Fixed the script to use "sleep" instead of "timeout", so that
    the command doesn't require output re-direction.
