APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • A bulk load job with Oracle Connector does not output the
correct record contents to the reject link when loading records
to an Oracle partitioned Database. Although the records are
rejected, the Oracle Connector writes the same record multiple
times to the reject link. In addition, the count of loaded
    records logged is incorrect.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • A bulk load job with Oracle Connector does not output the
correct record contents to the reject link when loading records
to an Oracle partitioned Database. Although the records are
rejected, the Oracle Connector writes the same record multiple
times to the reject link. In addition, the count of loaded
    records logged is incorrect.

Problem conclusion

  • Some variables that represent offsets and indexes were being
ignored. Now the Oracle Connector is able to correctly set the
record offset of a row that did not load correctly.
In addition, the Oracle Connector now correctly accumulates the
number of loaded records. Previously, the count was only updated
when all rows in the array were successful.
