  Users performing data writing with external tables using named
  pipes.
  ****************************************************************
  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  During data load using external tables and named pipes job fails
  with the following error message:
  
    INSERT INTO EXTERNAL TABLE statement reported: SQLSTATE =
  428IB:
    Native Error Code = -20,569: Msg = [IBM][CLI
  Driver][DB2/LINUXX8664]
    SQL20569N  The external table operation failed due to a
  problem with
    the corresponding data file or diagnostic files. File name:
    "\\.\pipe\udbpipe20190219153340588082_8996a06040". Reason
  code: "0".
    SQLSTATE=428IB
  
  The error is present on Windows when using IBM Data Server
  Client
  version older than 11.1 FixPack 5.
  
  On Unix systems, while using IBM Data Server Client version
  older
  than 11.1 FixPack 4, the same error might be reported or job
  might end
  successfully with no rows written to database. In the second
  case, job log
  contains the following message:
  
    Number of records loaded = 0

Problem conclusion

• DB2 Connector code has been corrected to perform data load using
   external
  tables and named pipes. It is required to use DB2 Connector
  patch with
  following (or newer) version of IBM Data Server Client:
  - Windows - version 11.1 FixPack 5 (must contain APAR IT28459:
  Select
    from pipe via external tables does not work on Windows client)
  - Unix - version 11.1 FixPack 4
