Error description
A DB2 application (for example an application using the DB2.NET data provider), may not receive column names from a stored procedure result set. The application may receive column numbers (eg, 1, 2, 3, etc) instead of the actual column names. . The underlying problem is with a DRDA request being sent from a DB2 Linux, Unix, Windows (LUW) server that will intermittently fail to produce column names in an SQLCINRD (SQL Result Set Column Information Reply Data) DRDA codepoint.
