Error description

  • CREATE SERVER <servername> TYPE mssqlserver VERSION 2008
WRAPPER mssqlodbc3 OPTIONS (node '<nodename>', dbname
'<dbname>');
DB21034E  The command was processed as an SQL statement because
it was not a
valid Command Line Processor command.  During SQL processing it
returned:
SQL1816N  Wrapper "MSSQLODBC3" cannot be used to access the
"version" of data
source ("" "2008") that you are trying to define to the
federated database.
SQLSTATE=560AC

  • Begin to support SQL Server 2008 from DB2 V91fp8

  • Problem was first fixed in Version 9.1 FixPak 8 (s090823). This
