APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When accessing foreign table data which related to codepage
conversion, it will report:
SQL10003C There are not enough system resources to process the
request.
And db2diag.log include:
FUNCTION: DB2 UDB, oper system services, sqlofica, probe:10
DATA #1 : SQLCA, PD_DB2_TYPE_SQLCA, 136 bytes
 sqlcaid : SQLCA     sqlcabc: 136   sqlcode: -10003   sqlerrml:
20
 sqlerrmc: String was truncated

But when federation server codepage changing between multi
character codepage and single character codepage,  SQL10003C
error may disappear.

   Users of the ODBC wrapper in InfoSphere Federation Server
Problem description and summary:
   See error description.

Problem conclusion

  • Problem was first fixed in Version 9.1 FixPak 9 (s100326 ). This
fix should be applied on the federation server.
