APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Private memory is leaked when a connection is made to DB2 and
  an XML policy document is read.  In the Windows environment this
  memory is leaked by the db2sysc.exe process.

  Problem Description:
  Private memory is leaked when a connection is made to DB2 and
  an XML policy document is read.  In the Windows environment this
  memory is leaked by the db2sysc.exe process.
  
  Problem Description:
  Private memory is leaked in a db2agent or db2sysc.exe process
  when a connected triggers a read of an XML Policy document.
  This can be observed for example when using the DB2 scheduler to
  run stored procedures.  The leak is due to not deallocating
  memory that contains the XML document when it is no longer
  needed.
  

Problem conclusion

• Problem was first fixed in Version 9 Fix Pack 5.
