Error description

  • MERGE statements were a batcheable statement type under the DB2
    v8 Universal JDBC Driver (JDBC Type 4) driver. Attempting to
    batch a MERGE statement with the DB2 v9 Universal JDBC Driver
    results in an SQLException being thrown. This APAR makes MERGE
    statements valid batcheable statement types for the DB2 v9
    Universal JDBC Driver.
