IT44134: IBM MQ XMS client registers extraneous files with the .NET global assembly cache

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The IBM MQ XMS client registers runtime libraries (DLLs) with
  the .NET global assembly cache (GAC).
  The list of libraries registered incorrectly included some which
  are no longer shipped with or required by the client, such as
  "bin\de\IBM.XMS.NLS.resources.dll"
  
  These extraneous library registrations do not affect the
  successful operation of the IBM MQ XMS client.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

  USERS AFFECTED:
  This issue may be observered all users of the IBM MQ XMS client
  from 9.2 onwards, although does not affect the operation of the
  client itself.
  
  
  Platforms affected:
  Windows

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  A packaging error meant that old DLL files no longer shipped
  with the client were not removed from the list of DLLs to be
  registered with the GAC.
  

Problem conclusion

• The IBM MQ XMS client installer has been updated so that the
  unnecessary libraries are no longer registered with the GAC
