IT43343: A network disconnect of HA links left a single RDQM node in running state

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• One node in an RDQM cluster was suspended and HA links were
  disconnected on a second node.
  The active node in the cluster continued to run but RDQM needs a
  minimum of 2 active nodes for quorum, so this state is not
  valid.  The active node should have shut down.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  One node in an RDQM cluster was suspended and HA links were
  disconnected on a second node. The active node should have shut
  down at this point  because RDQM needs a minimum of 2 active
  nodes for quorum, but an error in the way that MQ had configured
  the underlying system meant that the node continued to run.
  

Problem conclusion

• The way that MQ configures the system has been corrected.
