Error description

  • MQ appliance M2002 migration from MQ 9.2.x/9.2.x.x to
9.3.0.x/9.3.x firmware fails when a floating IP is assigned to a
subset of configured HA QMs. On encountering the issue, the
user is likely to see one or more of the following symptoms.

    * HA queue managers for which the appliance is the preferred
location do not automatically start on the appliance.
    * A failure data capture (FDC) file with probe ID XC022001 and
    Major Errorcode aplE_HA_INIT_FAILED is created
in the mqerr: filesystem when the appliance reboots after
    installing the new firmware.

Product Long Name :- IBM MQ Appliance
      Installation Name :- MQAppliance (1)
      Probe Id :- XC022001
      Component :- xcsDisplayMessage
      Program Name :- mqdpinit
      Thread Name :- ProcessInit
      Major Errorcode :- aplE_HA_INIT_FAILED
Probe Description :- AMQ6125E: An internal IBM MQ Appliance
    error has
       occurred.
    * Attempting to move queue managers to the current appliance
manually, using the sethagrp -u [qmgr]
        command, reports:
High availability configuration of [qmgr] already
    migrated
           The sethagrp command succeeded
but the queue manager does not start on the local
    appliance.
