Local fix
The strmqm -c command can be used to redefine the SYSTEM.DEFAULT.SUB object: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/ibm-mq/9.2?topic=reference-strmqm-st art-queue-manager This will restore the CRDATE and CRTIME fields. This workaround should be used with caution as it will also redefine all other IBM MQ system objects. Any changes that had been made to the default values of the system objects are overwritten by this command. The dmpmqcfg command can be used before running the strmqm -c command to allow any user modification of the system objects to be reinstated.
Problem summary
**************************************************************** USERS AFFECTED: Users who redefine the SYSTEM.DEFAULT.SUB object will be affected by this issue. Platforms affected: MultiPlatform **************************************************************** PROBLEM DESCRIPTION: The SYSTEM.DEFAULT.SUB object is processed differently to other subscription objects when it is redefined because it is the base template object. This difference in processing caused IBM MQ to fail to preserve the CRDATE and CRTIME of the SYSTEM.DEFAULT.SUB object when that object is redefined.
Problem conclusion
The code has been corrected so that the CRDATE and CRTIME fields are now preserved when redefining the SYSTEM.DEFAULT.SUB object. --------------------------------------------------------------- The fix is targeted for delivery in the following PTFs: Version Maintenance Level v9.2 LTS 9.2.0.20 v9.3 LTS 9.3.0.10 v9.x CD 9.3.4 The latest available maintenance can be obtained from 'WebSphere MQ Recommended Fixes' http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&uid=swg27006037 If the maintenance level is not yet available information on its planned availability can be found in 'WebSphere MQ Planned Maintenance Release Dates' http://www-1.ibm.com/support/docview.wss?rs=171&uid=swg27006309 ---------------------------------------------------------------
