installation, and a newer version of some of the Apache Commons
libraries are available.

USERS AFFECTED:
The component of MQ which utilises the embedded Apache Commons
libraries is:

  IBM MQ Managed File Transfer

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The IBM MQ MFT v9.2 releases are supplied with the following
Apache Commons libraries :

  Apache Commons IO
  Apache Commons Net

Updated versions of these libraries are available from Apache
Commons.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The version of Apache Commons JAR files shipped within the IBM
MQ Managed File Transfer component have been updated to the
following versions:

  Apache Commons IO v.2.8.0
  Apache Commons Net v.3.7.2

The fix is targeted for delivery in the following PTFs:
