Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
Users of MQ V9.1 who rely on AdoptNewMCA functionality

    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
A channel disconnected and reconnected before the queue manager
    had cleaned
the previous instance of the channel. The Adopt MCA function
    was enabled on
the queue manager, so the code attempted to stop the previous
    channel instance,
but a defect in the code caused the queue manager to incorrectly
    detect an error
state and issue a FFST with probe RM008005.

Problem conclusion

  • The defect has been fixed so that the queue manager no longer
    incorrectly
    detects an error state.
