IT31572: IBM MQ 9.1.4 CD .NET client fails to connect to queue managers older than the MQ 9.1.4 CD level.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• An application running against IBM MQ version 9.1.4 CD client
  libraries for .NET (amqmdnetstd.dll) fails with 2059.  The trace
  of the client application shows that it starts a
  conversation with the remote QMgr, however, terminates and
  MQQueueManager.connect() ends with the 2059.
  
  The exception is:
  
  System.ArgumentNullException: Value cannot be null. (Parameter
  'destinationArray')
  at System.Array.Copy(Array sourceArray, Int32 sourceIndex,
  Array destinationArray, Int32 destinationIndex, Int32 length,
  Boolean reliable)
  The remote QMgr reports an error on receive at the time of the
  client failure; indicating that the connection was reset
  (Windows 10054).
  
  Earlier versions of the .NET client libraries are successful.

  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  Coding error in MQ managed .NET client code lead to a
  uninitialized memory. This uninitialized memory caused  the
  client application to fail with 2059.
  

Problem conclusion

• MQ managed .Net client code has been corrected to initialize the
  memory such that the connection is successfully established.
