Error description
The RDQM qmgr does not start upgrading to MQ 9.1.0.4 fixpack. The status of a newly created RDQM will be Queue manager status: Ended immediately and the status of an existing queue manager will be in 'Status not available' attempt to start the qmgr, manually will report "IBM MQ queue manager 'rdqm1' HA sub-system is already active." when you create an RDQM HA queue manager it becomes managed by the HA subsystem which starts the queue manager automatically.A user would typically not need to run strmqm unless they had issued endmqm .
Local fix
Please copy these below file on all 3 nodes. Verify the MQ installation path, if the installation path is:"InstPath:/opt/mqm" then copy the executables from /opt/mqm/ or use the appropriate installpath step 1: cp /opt/mqm/samp/rdqm/ocf/resource.d/ibm/rdqm /usr/lib/ocf/resource.d/ibm chmod 755 /usr/lib/ocf/resource.d/ibm/rdqm cp /opt/mqm/samp/rdqm/ocf/resource.d/ibm/rdqmx /usr/lib/ocf/resource.d/ibm chmod 755 /usr/lib/ocf/resource.d/ibm/rdqmx cp /opt/mqm/samp/rdqm/systemd/rdqm.service /usr/lib/systemd/system chmod 644 /usr/lib/systemd/system/rdqm.service step 2: run the below command to check crm status crm resource status the result will look like this p_fs_rdqm1 (ocf::heartbeat:Filesystem): Started swanks2 p_rdqmx_rdqm1 (ocf::ibm:rdqmx): FAILED swanks2 (blocked) Failed Actions: * p_rdqmx_rdqm1_stop_0 on swanks2 'insufficient privileges' (4): call=42, status=complete, exitreason='none', crm status result may show the rdqmx resource is in failed and blocked. To recover from this run the following commands crm resource cleanup p_rdqmx_<qmgrname> <qmgrname> is the name of the RDQM in lowercase.
