Error description

  • db2instance -list should work even though an adapter fails on a
    host, however the current db2instance command fails with an
    error message in such situation.

    $ db2instance -list
    The member, CF, or host information could not be obtained.
    Verify the cluster manager resources are valid by entering
    db2cluster -cm -verify -resources. Check the db2diag.log for
    more information.

    In the db2diag.log, db2instance will log
    ECF_SQLHA_OBJECT_DOES_NOT_EXIST when checking the network
    resources before failing.
