amqzmuc0 process hung generating  a failure data capture (FDC)
record with the following
information:

Problem summary

USERS AFFECTED:
Users of the publish/subscribe functionality of IBM MQ may be
affected by this issue.


Platforms affected:

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
An internal lock for a temporary dynamic queue was not released
when it should have been.  There is a check at various points in
the code to verify that there are no outstanding locks and if
any are found then an apiFFSTForUnreleasedLock FDC is created.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The IBM MQ queue manager code was modified so that the lock was
released at the appropriate time.
