Error description

  • attempting to read data form named pipe on Windows will end up
    with error
    
    C:\> db2 "INSERT INTO test_table  (uuid, id, text) SELECT
    uuid,id,text FROM EXTERNAL '\\.\pipe\myPipe'(uuid VARCHAR(10),
    id INTEGER, text VARCHAR(50)) USING (DELIMITER ',' REMOTESOURCE
    YES)"
    DB21034E  The command was processed as an SQL statement because
    it was not a
    valid Command Line Processor command.  During SQL processing it
    returned:
    SQL20569N  The external table operation failed due to a problem
    with the
    corresponding data file or diagnostic files. File name:
    "\\.\pipe\myPipe".
    Reason code: "0".  SQLSTATE=428IB
