Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
This issue affects users of the IBM MQ V9 OSGi bundles, which
    includes the MQ Explorer.

    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
An issue existed in the way the IBM MQ OSGi bundles were
packaged such that a number of required import and export
statements within the MANIFEST.MF files for Bouncy Castle
libraries were erroneously omitted. This resulted in
java.lang.ClassNotFoundException errors to be thrown within the
MQ Java Advanced Message Security (AMS) interceptor, causing a
MQRC 2195 error message to be displayed by the MQ Explorer.

Problem conclusion

  • The packaging of the IBM MQ OSGi bundles has been corrected such
that the required import and export statements for packages
within the Bouncy Castle library have been included.
