APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • A newly created qmgr on MQ V8 has the following in the
blockaddr.ini file for the queue manager:

ChlAuth = Disabled

even though the default chlauth status of the V8 qmgr is
Enabled.

Similarly, if the chlatuh status of the qmgr it changed, this
change is not reflected correctly on the blockaddr.ini file.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
An internal logic error within the MQ queue manager meant that
the current value of the chlauth status was not correctly
written to the blockaddr.ini file.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The MQ queue manager logic has been corrected to reflect the
current chlauth status into the blockaddr.ini file.
