Error description

  • It has been identified that in some instances QRadar Apps can
    fail to load.
    Messages similar to the following might be visible when this
    issue is occuring after attempting to restart vault:
    # systemctl restart vault-qrd
    <fqdn> ensure-vault-ready-for-unseal.sh[23036]: Ensuring vault
    is ready to be unsealed...
    <fqdn> si-vault[23035]: Error initializing core: Failed to lock
    memory: cannot allocate memory
    <fqdn> si-vault[23035]: This usually means that the mlock
    syscall is not available.
    <fqdn> si-vault[23035]: Vault uses mlock to prevent memory from
    being swapped to
    <fqdn> si-vault[23035]: disk. This requires root privileges as
    well as a machine
    <fqdn> si-vault[23035]: that supports mlock. Please enable
    mlock on your system or
    <fqdn> systemd[1]: vault-qrd.service: main process exited,
    code=exited, status=1/FAILURE
    <fqdn> ensure-vault-ready-for-unseal.sh[23036]: % Total    %
