APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • It has been identified that reference sets are not purged after
    their time to live (TTL) expires when "Do not log elements" is
    selected during the creation of the reference set.
    These reference sets are still applied to incoming events,
    rules, etc. after their TTL expires.
    

Local fix

  • Select other log element expiration options when creating a
    reference set.
    

Problem summary

  • This issue was fixed in QRadar QRM QVM release of 7.3.1 patch 8
    and 7.3.2 GA.
