Error description

  • Changes made to the QRadar API now have the Range Headers using
"elements" instead of "keys" for reference data. This can
change the expected behavior/output for UBA and other QRadar
    Apps.

This has been seen to cause the User Behavior Analytics
(UBA)/LDAP integration to not work as expected due to the
inability to import the complete reference table, or only
import part of it. Not all user accounts and/or information
about users displays in UBA or activity is coalesced on
    different usernames in some instances.

Examples of additional UBA issues that might be observed:
    1. Accounts/info are not imported from LDAP (i.e. missing
users/people). The QRadar User Interface displays how many
elements should be imported (eg. 1000 people displayed in this
UI data, it runs, and only 100 will be in UBA).
    2. Missing information on accounts (eg. department/city/email
    etc. can be empty).
This isssue is not as apparent for older accounts as that
account data has already been imported and it is common that
LDAP is configured to poll once a day or once week.
