APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • It has been identified that the WinCollect agent "Status"
    message displayed in the QRadar User Interface -> Admin tab ->
    WinCollect window can be inaccurate when using WinCollect
    version 7.2.5 or newer.
    In some instances the Status displays "Running" when the agent
    is not. This has been reported for agents where the process has
    been killed, the server shut down unexpectantly, and the agent
    renamed.
    

Local fix

  • No workaround available.
    

Problem summary

Problem conclusion

  • This issue was fixed in WinCollect version 7.2.8.
