Error description

  • The instance shuts down/abends with a sigsegv. Looking at the
corresponding trap file which is generated as a result of
sigsegv the following can be observed:

    0x09000000333CFCDC sqlriMoveDataPtr__FP8sqlrr_cb + 0xDC
    0x09000000326EE2F4

This can be easily recreated on v9.7 Fixpak 1 on Solaris however
it is not confined to this platform or level.

    Recreate Steps:

db2 "create table taba ( one int )"
db2 "create table tabb ( one int )"
    db2 "insert into taba values ( 1 )"
    db2 "insert into tabb values ( 1 )"
    db2 "select a.rowid from taba a, tabb b"
