Error description

  • Reorgchk command could be hung on the v9.7 if the following
    message in the db2diag.log file.

Local fix

  • The stored procedure REORGCHK_TB_STATS and REORGCHK_IX_STATS can
    be used as a workaround

Problem conclusion

  • First fixed in DB2 v9.7 fixpak 2
    

Temporary fix

  • The stored procedure REORGCHK_TB_STATS and REORGCHK_IX_STATS can
    
    be used as a workaround
