-  Using the CPYSPLF command with TOFILE(*TOSTMF), TOSTMF('/Directory/Path/PDFFileName.pdf') and WSCST(*PDF)
-  Using the OVRPRTF command with DEVTYPE(*AFPDS), TOSTMF('/Directory/Path/PDFFileName.pdf') and WSCST(*PDF)
-  Printing an *AFPDS type spooled file that contains an image AFP resource using the AFPRSC DDS keyword to an ASCII printer configured to use Host Print Transform (HPT)

PDFs generated by Transform Services have the following properties:

Transform Services was introduced in OS V6R1 and shipped with OS V7R1 and later releases.

On IBM i 7.5 Transform Services has changed to run in QUSRWRK subsystem instead of QSYSWRK subsystem. Additionally, Transform Services now includes a QCTXMGR job and a manager server socket in directory /QOpenSys/QIBM/ProdData/TransformServices/ServerJob.

Both QCTXMGR and QCTXDMON jobs run under QSECOFR user profile. 
NOTE:  Prior releases the QCTXDMON runs under QUSER user profile.

The OVRPRTF command to create a PDF using Transform Service involves a user profile swap to QSECOFR. Because of changes to security requirements on IBM i 7.5, creating PDFs to the /QNTC and /QFileSvr.400 file systems is no longer possible. Using the OVRPRTF command to these directory systems will fail.

- Note that Transform Services jobs run in QUSRWRK subsystem instead of QSYSWRK subsystem.
- Ensure QUSRWRK subsystem is started after an IPL and the maximum jobs in subsystem (MAXJOBS) is set to a higher value or *NOMAX: CHGSBSD SBSD(QSYSWRK) MAXJOBS(*NOMAX)
