Problem
This document describes how to obtain the latest version of AFP Workbench Viewer, which is provided and supported by Ricoh.
Environment
IMPORTANT:
IBM i Access Version of the AFP Workbench Viewer is out of support as of April 30, 2019. The IBM i Global Support Center will not provide any further support of this utility.
The AFP Workbench Viewer option within Navigator for i was also removed as this type of plugin is no longer supported. For further details, refer to AFP Viewer Plugin: https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/node/1163776
Resolving The Problem
Ricoh supplies and supports the AFP Workbench Viewer. It is available from Ricoh at website: https://dl.ricohsoftware.com/downloads/aa9a248e-101c-4aa6-b109-1cf7403f3b4f
From the link, it states:
This EID has been deprecated and is no longer available. Please submit a new No Charge request at: https://dl.ricohsoftware.com/no_charge_request
You must submit a request to get the AFP print driver or AFP Workbench Viewer and Plugin.
Go to the aforementioned website or click the link that says This EID has been deprecated and is no longer available.
Fill out the form.
Once approved, an email will be received that will contain a link to download the driver or viewer.
