Intelligent Miner® provides
different regression algorithms.
These regression algorithms
are:
- Transform Regression
- Linear Regression
- Polynomial Regression
With these Regression algorithms, you can specify the following
optional field-related information in a logical data specification.
- You can specify name mappings for categorical fields by using DM_setFldNmp and DM_addNmp.
- With the Linear Regression algorithm and the Polynomial Regression
algorithm, you can specify lower and upper bounds for numerical fields
by using the method DM_setFldOutlLim.
With the Regression algorithms, you cannot specify taxonomies for
categorical fields.
