Extracting the MDM and Salesforce.com integration sample

Use this procedure to extract the MDM and Salesforce.com integration sample.

Procedure

  1. Browse to the InfoSphere® MDM installation directory and locate IBMInfoSphereMasterDataManagement_Samples_<version>.zip.
  2. Extract the IBMInfoSphereMasterDataManagement_Samples_<version>.zip package and go to the mdmsamples\mdm_integration directory.
  3. Copy the com.ibm.mdm.integration.sfdc directory to a location of your choice.

Results

The subdirectories are listed in the following table. Details about using the contents of these directories are described in separate tasks.

Subdirectory Description
castiron This directory contains the IBM® WebSphere® Cast Iron® Studio projects. These projects support the MDM and Salesforce.com integration scenarios.
datastagejobs This directory contains a file that is called SalesForceInitialLoad.dsx. This file is used in IBM InfoSphere DataStage® to process bulk data import and export.
mdm There are two subdirectories. The interactionBehaviourExtension directory contains a sample behavior extension to publish interaction information. The sampleModel directory contains the integration project that is imported to MDM Workbench.
sfdcproject\mdm_se\src The contents of this directory are deployed to Salesforce.com through the Force.com IDE.
testData This directory contains .xml and .unl files that can be used for testing the integration scenarios or for setting up a demonstration of the integration.
