Ordering rules manually

You can order rule artifacts manually in the Rule Explorer.

About this task

One of the ways of determining the initial rule order is to order them manually in the Rule Explorer, using drag-and-drop.

Note:

The Sort Rule Artifacts icon must be deactivated before you can use the drag-and-drop method.

To order rules manually:

If the Sort Rule Artifacts button is activated, click it again to deactivate it.
Drag the rule you want to move and drop it over the new location.
Repeat for each rule you want to move.
Example: ordering rules manually

The following rules are not in the required order. The order should be ruleA, ruleC, and then ruleB. If you drag ruleB and release it over ruleC, the rules move to the required order.
