Administering Decision Center

Decision Center provides a number of administrative responsibilities that you must oversee.

The first responsibility of the Decision Center administrator is to complete the configuration by creating the Decision Center database schema.

Note: You must be familiar with the configuration of Decision Center on your application server (for example, Configuring Decision Center on WebSphere® Application Server).

You also manage the Decision Center users.

The administrator is also responsible for the following:
  • Setting security and permissions.
  • Performing diagnostics or clearing the cache.
  • Importing/exporting zip files of a decision service or project.
  • Erasing, copying, or freezing projects.
