Upgrading Content Platform Engine software is a multi-step process.
Before you begin
Starting with V5.5.10, the Java™ runtime is not provided as part of the FileNet Content Manager installation packages. Ensure all tasks described in "(v5.5.10 and later) Providing a JAVA Runtime Environment for installers, services, and clients" were previously completed.
Important: Before you start to upgrade the Content Platform Engine software, ensure that
you are at the correct version and fix pack level, as indicated in System requirements: Hardware and
