Create Workflows - Errors page

If errors occur while z/OSMF is collecting data to create the workflow, the Errors page in the Create Workflow action is displayed. To proceed, you must correct the errors. To troubleshoot and resolve the errors, you might need to use other tools, such as TSO or ISPF.

These errors can be general errors or data set errors, and are displayed in separate sections for each error type.

General Errors

The General Errors section lists the errors that z/OSMF encountered for a software instance that are not specific to the workflow being created. For example, errors discovered while reading the target and distribution zones.

Column Description
Message ID Identifier for the message. To display the help for the message, click the status icon or message ID link.
Message Text Text of the message.

Data Set Errors

The Data Set Errors section lists the errors that z/OSMF encountered for a software instance that are specific to the data sets in the software instance. For example, the volume on which a data set is supposed to reside does not exist.

Column Description
Data Set Name Name of the data set.
Message ID Identifier for the message. To display the help for the message, click the status icon or message ID link.
Message Text Text of the message.

Action Description
Configure Columns Select the columns to display in the table, specify the order of those columns, and designate which columns should be fixed in position when the table is scrolled horizontally.
Hide Filter Row Remove the filter row from view. This action is listed only when the filter row is displayed in the table.
Show Filter Row Display the filter row. This action is listed only when the filter row is not displayed in the table.
Clear Sorts Clear the sort from all of the columns in the table. This action is disabled if no sorting is specified in the table.
