Modifying the data in a table cell

Some tables in z/OSMF have cells in which you can directly enter or modify information. These cells are called editable table cells, and they have a border around them so that you can easily identify them. To edit the data in one of these cells, you can use a mouse or a keyboard.

Procedure

  1. To modify a table cell, complete one of the following actions:
    • Tab to the Table Data section of the table. Use the arrow keys to bring focus to an editable cell, and then press F2 or Enter.
    • Double click on an editable cell.
  2. Make changes as needed.
  3. To exit an editable cell and preserve your changes, complete one of the following actions:
    • Press Enter.
    • Click outside of the cell.
    • Press Tab or Shift+Tab. Doing so moves the cursor to the next or previous editable cell.
