Defining Security Resource Libraries

The three types of security resources are overlays, page segments, and fonts. These types of resources are stored in a secure library, and they are managed differently from other resources stored on the system. You should allocate a security resource library with the attributes listed in Table 2.

Security overlays are produced for each security label defined. One or more security overlays can be defined for each size paper and page orientation being used. Security fonts and security page segments are those that are used within the security overlay. Security resource libraries are named in the PRINTDEV statement of the PSF startup procedure. See Defining Data Definition Names in the PRINTDEV Statement for the syntax used in the PRINTDEV statement.
