Tutorial: Reporting metric utilization per computer group

In this tutorial, you learn how to create computer groups that allow for managing software and generating audit snapshots for a subset of computers.

You can manage software per computer group in the following scenarios:
  • You have IBM software that is installed in multiple IBM subcapacity regions. For more information, see: IBM subcapacity regions.
  • You want to separately manage software that is installed in each business unit in your organization. For more information, see: Organizational business units.
  • You are a service provider and you want to manage software and report metric utilization per customer. For more information, see: Service providers.
