Subscribing to the RQA SaaS for DOORS Next

You can subscribe to IBM Engineering Requirements Quality Assistant (RQA) from IBM Marketplace. If you subscribe to the service, you become the owner, or a primary administrator.

Procedure

Go to the IBM Engineering Requirements Quality Assistant page on IBM Marketplace.
Log in using your IBMid credentials.
On the Pricing tab, review the pricing options. To subscribe, click Request a consultation.
After your purchase is processed, you receive an email.
On your IBM dashboard, review the RQA service details.

Important: The primary administrator permissions are available only to the user who subscribes to the service. To configure user access to RQA through IBM Cloud® App ID, the credentials for the primary administrator are required.
Click Manage.
On the Manage Users page, add your email ID as a licensed subscriber.
Return to your IBM dashboard.
To open the RQA dashboard, click Launch.

What to do next

The primary administrator can complete these steps from the RQA dashboard on the Administrators tab:

Go to App ID and authorize IBM Engineering Requirements Management DOORS Next (DOORS Next) users to access and use the RQA service. For details, see Managing administrators and users for RQA SaaS.
Add an administrator user with JazzAdmins or JazzProjectAdmins repository permissions. This administrator must add a URL to the Jazz® Team Server (JTS) allowlist and to the OpenSocial Gadget widget catalog. For details, see Adding the RQA widget and Managing access to the RQA dashboard.
