Testing a cloud account

The command-line interface supports diagnostics and status reports for network connectivity, authentication, and the ability to use cloud storage. You can use this information for troubleshooting and monitoring the status of your cloud account.

To test a cloud account, enter the following command:

testcloudaccount cloud_account_id_or_name

where cloud_account_id_or_name is either the name or the system-assigned identifier for the cloud account. You can run this command for cloud accounts that are either online or offline. If the command is run on an online account and the command fails, the account goes offline and an event is added to the log. If the cloud account is an offline account and the command runs successfully, then the event that held the account offline is fixed and the cloud account goes online.
