What's new in Jobs
View fairshare information for a job
You can now know the percentage of slots you are entitled to use according to the configured fairshare policy and the percentage and number of slots your job is using. In the Jobs tab, select a job to view its job details. In the Job Details, select View Fairshare Information to display your slot entitlement and slot use.
View the number of slots used by a job
You can now view the number of slots that are used by a job in the Jobs page with the new Slots Used column. To display this new column, in the Jobs page, select Options, and select the Slots Used column to place a check mark.
View jobs according to queue
In the Jobs tab, select to view a summary of all jobs according you submitted to the queue. Click the number of jobs in each job state to display only the jobs in that state, in that specific queue. You can also view fairshare information by queue from the Jobs by Queue Summary page.
What's new in submission templates
Define dependency on multiple fields
In , you can now define dependency on multiple fields. For example, display the queue normal as the default queue when a user selects Memory Architecture: Sequential and CPUs: 1.

Select bash or csh as the shell to run remote applications
You can now select either bash or csh as the type of shell to use to run a remote application with the new field Application Shell. This field is available in the GEDIT and RealVNC templates.
What's new in IBM Spectrum LSF mobile client
View job files from IBM Spectrum LSF mobile client
Users can now see job data files from the Data tab in IBM Spectrum LSF mobile client. Tap on the file to display its contents.
The Data tab is only visible in IBM Spectrum LSF mobile client when the new parameter MOBILE_VIEW_DATA=Y in the file $GUI_CONFDIR/pmc.conf. You can define how many lines of the file are visible at one time with the additional new parameter MOBILE_VIEW_DATA_LINES in the file $GUI_CONFDIR/pmc.conf.
What's new in IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center Desktop Client
Automatic detection of screen resolution
When remote applications are started on the desktop, IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center Desktop Client automatically detects the screen resolution on the desktop and sets the same resolution for displaying started applications.
Configure which files are downloaded to the desktop
In the submission form in IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center Desktop Client, users can now define a pattern to download only specific files and a compression method to package the files for download. In the submission template, administrators can define a default download pattern and compression method when the submission form is used in IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center Desktop Client.
