1. Writing your script

You define dependencies by creating scripts that are external to IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center to define the desired behavior.

Script requirements
You can use a Windows or Linux script to define dependencies between fields.
Example: Set the queue based on both Memory Architecture and Number of CPUs fields(Linux)
In this example, both the Memory Architecture and Number of CPUs fields that are selected together control what is displayed in the Queues field. A Linux script is required since users are accessing the submission form through the web browser only.
Example: Display the Memory Architecture field only when xBatch mode is selected(Windows)
In this example, the value of the Mode field determines whether the field Memory Architecture is displayed. A Windows script is required since users are accessing the submission form through IBM Spectrum LSF Application Center Desktop Client.
