Adding Topology Manager Commands to the Menus

Many topology manager commands can be issued using the generic ACTIVATE INACTIVATE, and RECYCLE commands available from the NetView® management console context menu. All SNA topology manager commands can be issued from the command line.

You can add commands as a command set to the existing NetView management console context menu. You might want to do this because:

You can choose multiple resources and issue commands against them all (which is not possible with the command tree facility or the command line).
You can issue multiple commands against resources in different views without waiting until the first command for the first view has finished (which is not possible with the command tree facility or the command line).
You can make frequently used commands quickly accessible from a menu.

Notes: The RODM object identifier for the selected object in the current view is substituted for the string %OBJECTID%. Optionally, adjust the values for MONTIME. The values in the sample specify that all timed monitors stop after 5 minutes.
