To acquire the installation assets and scripts for InfoSphere® MDM, go to IBM®
Passport Advantage®. The assets are downloadable
as installation image files.
Use the Download IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management page to help determine the
parts that you need for your licensed edition and version.
Use the information in the system requirements topic to determine the supported versions for WebSphere® Application Server and fix packs.
About this task
Before you begin installing InfoSphere MDM, ensure that you have
downloaded all of the latest installation packages required for your licensed edition and
version.
- In a web browser, navigate to Passport Advantage
Online and sign in with an IBM ID that is entitled to
download InfoSphere MDM.
If you are not familiar with Passport
Advantage, you can watch a video tour on the home page that explains how to use the
site.
-
Refer to the Download IBM InfoSphere Master Data Management support article to determine
the parts that you should download.
- Download the installation image files that you need for your deployment from Passport Advantage.
-
Extract the files into a directory called, for example, /MDM.
Tip: When you extract the files, place them into a folder structure that reflects the
parts that you have downloaded. Choose appropriate folder names for any other product parts that you
have downloaded, such as /RAD, /DB2 and so on. This will
make it easier to point IBM Installation Manager to each
folder to acquire installation details for each product or component.
